Bhawana Somaaya—the sixth daughter
and eighth child of her parents.

She studied at
Our Lady of Good Counsel High School, Sion
& learnt Bharatnatyam dance at
Vallabh Sangeetalay.

She graduated in Psychology and acquired
a degree in LLB (Criminology) from
Government Law College while simultaneously
pursuing a degree in Journalism at
KC College, Bombay.

She is a gold medalist in public speaking and has
represented her college on various occasions
at university level.
